How it all works

The flow of running your restaurant with REDレジ, from download to closing, and when to use each of the four device types.

Device: iPad, iPhone and guests' smartphones

Steps

1. 1

   Download the app and sign up

   Install REDレジ on an iPad (or iPhone / Android) and register your shop with "Sign up (free)".

2. 2

   Add your menu and tables

   In "Settings", add categories, menu items (prices and photos) and your tables (table numbers).

3. 3

   Connect printers

   Search for printers on the same Wi-Fi, add them, and choose what each one prints: kitchen order tickets, receipts and so on.

4. 4

   Open and take orders

   Go to "Register → Open register", enter your float and open. Tap a table to seat guests; when you send an order, the order ticket prints in the kitchen.

5. 5

   Checkout

   In "Checkout", pick a table and take payment by cash, card, QR payment and more. Separate checks and even splits are supported.

6. 6

   Settle and close

   At the end of the day, use "Settlement (Z)" to finalize sales, then "Close register" to count the cash and close.

Tips

• Register: the heart of your shop for checkout, orders and register reports (iPad recommended).
• Table pad: placed on the table so guests order by looking at photos.
• Handy: staff take table orders on their own smartphone and clock in and out.
• QR ordering: guests scan the QR code on the table with their smartphone and order. No app needed.
